Entries are now closed for the Term 3, 2025 Intermediate and Primary Schools Water Polo Competition
The Competition
This Term 3 competition will run for 9 weeks on Wednesday’s starting on 16 July through to
Wednesday 17 September. Ngaengae Pool is closed for maintenance so there will be no games on Wednesday 20 August. We are looking forward to seeing your teams at the pool for another Term of Water Polo
Information For Teams
- Intermediate Water Polo is played with a maximum number of 11 players per team.
- 6 players (goalie & 5 field players) can be in the water with up to 5 substitutes sitting poolside behind the two-metre red cone.
- Primary Waterpolo is played with a maximum of 10 Players
- 5 players (goalie & 4 field players) can be in the water with up to 5 substitutes sitting poolside behind the two-metre red cone.
- Junior Secondary Water Polo is played with a maximum number of 13 players per team.
- 7 players (goalie & 6 field players) can be in the water. All teams need to do rostered duty either before or after their game.
