League Dates

This year the Intermediate Water Polo League will be played in Term 2, starting on Wednesday 3 May 2023 and running through to Wednesday 7 June 2023. 

The league will run for 6 weeks in Term 2 only, due to Stokes Valley Pool+Fitness closing for maintenance.  

We are looking forward to seeing your teams at the pool for another season of Water Polo.

Team Information

• Intermediate Water Polo is played with a maximum number of 11 players per team. 
• Seven players (goalie & six field players) can be in the water with up to four substitutes sitting poolside behind the two-metre red cone. 
• Each team can have a named squad of 13 players however only 11 players can play each game. 

Game Information

• Game times will vary, but will be scheduled to start between 4:30pm and 7:00pm. 
• All games are ten-minute halves with a two-minute change of ends at half time.

This year the Primary Water Polo League will be played in Term 3, starting on Wednesday 19 July 2023 and running through to Wednesday 20 September 2023.
