NOTICE OF SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING
Hutt Water Polo Incorporated

Notice is hereby given that a Special General Meeting of Hutt Water Polo Incorporated will be held as follows:

Date: Monday 16 March
Time: 6.30pm
Location: Te Ngaengae Pool

Purpose of the Meeting

The purpose of this Special General Meeting is to consider and, if thought fit, pass the following resolutions:

1. That the members of Hutt Water Polo Incorporated adopt the proposed Constitution dated Mar ch 2026, replacing the existing Constitution.

2. That the members approve the registration of Hutt Water Polo Incorporated under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 and authorise the Committee to take all necessary steps to complete that registration.

Background

The Incorporated Societies Act 2022 requires all incorporated societies to register under the new legislation and to adopt a Constitution that complies with the updated legal requirements. The proposed Constitution has been prepared using the Sport New Zealand template and reviewed against other water polo club constitutions to ensure alignment with current best practice and legislative requirements.

Quorum

A quorum of ten is required in accordance with the current Constitution in order for the meeting to proceed.
