||Hutt Women Beat Northsport
The Hutt Women's team beat Northsport 12-5 in last nights National League Water Polo match at Huia Pool in Lower Hutt.
Both teams had just lost to Maranui, Hutt the night before and Northsport that morning, and both were out to turn their fourtunes around.
Hutt got off to an excellent start with 3 goals in the first quarter, two to Julie Berry, but could only covert one of thier 4 6 on 5 situations.
The second quarter was tied 1 all before an action packed third quarter saw Hutt outscore Northsport 4-3.
Hutt finished strongly with Nikki Glintmeyer slotting two goals and a 4-1 quarter saw Hutt the victors at home.
Hutt's Rebecca McGuinness was in fine form scoring a goal in each of the four quarters to lead the tally.

||Women Lose Close Encounter with Maranui
MARANUI notched their first points in the National Womens League with a last quarter game breaker in tonights match at the WRAC.
Hutt began well and led for most of the early stages in the match but Maranui clawed their way back and with the scores locked at 8 all Maranui's Koren Wilkinson slammed home the winner to give Maranui a 9-8 win and her 4th goal of the game. Ashleigh Wooton was Hutt's top scorer with 3.

||Hutt Women Beaten by Magic
The Marist Magic women?s team won their second game of the National Water Polo league today with an 8-4 victory over Hutt at the Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre.
Marist outscored Hutt for each of the first three quarters and showed their class and strength in the bigger 30m pool this evening.
Emily Cox top scored for Marist with two goals, but it was the Magic defence that left Hutt with little opportunities.
A 3-1 first quarter lead was extended to 5-2 at the half. Another 3 unanswered goals to Marist in the third quarter saw the game out of reach for Hutt who bounced back with a 2-0 last quarter.

||Hutt Women Ground Hawks
The Hutt women?s team scored the first win in the 2004 National Water Polo League beating the Harbour Ctiy Hawks tonight 10-4 at Huia Pool in Lower Hutt.
After a recent loss to Harbour City in the local Wellington competition, Hutt started strongly in the first quarter to race to a four-nil lead.
The second quarter was much closer as both teams put shots away and Hutt extended their lead by one to take the half time score to 7-2.
The third quarter was drawn 1-1, but the damage was done and Hutt finished well putting in another 2 goals in the last quarter to the Hawks 1.
Rebecca McGuinness top scored for Hutt with 5 of their 10 goals while Canterbury?s Sarah Hewitt also notched up 2 goals for Hutt.
The game was closer than the score line indicated with both teams missing scoring opportunities, and both goalkeepers making some excellent saves including the Hawks Carina Harache who saved a four metre penalty early in the third quarter.
Women's National League action continues on Saturday morning with Maranui taking on Auckland?s Marist Magic at the Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre at 11am.
